Roberta Giannocchero
Born in Florence in 1973, she was initiated into the art of mosaics by her father, who was a pupil of the great Master V. Renzi of the Vatican Mosaic School. Roberta attended the Graphic Art Institute in Florence and graduated in 1992. Culturally bound to classical art, she decided to expand her knowledge of mosaic technique and specialised in micro-mosaic composition. A gentle and refined soul, she composes works of fine workmanship and great sensitivity both for the choice of colours and the perfection of execution. Today she is considered a fine Master of micro-mosaic, an art that is now almost destined to disappear due to the long preparation and execution times.
