Beautiful reproduction of 18 kt yellow gold pendant cross of the famous San Damiano Cross. Considered a masterpiece of 12th century Italian art, the Cross of San Damiano is currently kept in the Basilica of Santa Chiara in Assisi. Our pendant cross reproduces meticulously the work of art. In the center we find Jesus erect and composed, not dead; The three Maria, San Giovanni and the Roman centurion are clearly visible on the side of his body, on top of the cross we see Jesus triumphant welcomed by ten heavenly Angels. The technique and skill of the great Italian goldsmiths in making the reproduction of a work of art so precise in a limited space is immeasurable.
